White Honey

मखमल की तरह मैरे जहन मे ऊतर गयी हो तुम,
मैरे अधेरो की कडवाहट को मीठास दी है तूमने।

Orgasm

Dhup

घुप झाड दी मैने रेत समझ के,
सूबह गूजार दी मैने शाम समझ के,
अब दीन के अधेरो मे भटकता हूं।

Saffron

Kashmir produces world’s best saffron. The hills near Pampor are ideal for Saffron. The framers depends completely on the rain so the yield is not much. The Kashmiri saffron costs around Rs.50, 000 per kg. While Iranian and Spanish saffron is much cheaper. As traders can sell Iranian and Spanish saffron as Kashmir saffron they don’t pay much to the farmers so many farmer are shifting from Saffron farming to Apple farming. Kashmiri saffron is culinary treasure of India, people of India should show interest in it the way we show interest in our architectural or musical heritage.

Kashmir

Traveling in Kashmir is a very special experience. The morning starts with kahwa and from your window you watch flower vendors passing by in their boats in the dal lake. Or you shop in the floating vegetable market.
In the afternoon you hear about the bomb explosions and news of death scars you. You feel frustrated with policies of Indian and Pakistani government and feel sorry for the people of Kashmir, some extremist meets you and makes you angry, you feel foolish to form any opinion. When you come back to the houseboat you are frustrated with your experience. But Dal Lake is a place which casts a magic spell of calmness on you, the stillness of the water takes away all the restlessness from you. Next day you hear the news that innocents has been killed by Indian Army….

No one knows what the future is? There is no single truth, only honest narratives of what lies in the depth of the past and millions of hopes for the future.

Eyezoom

Traveling makes me appreciate the details of life. It sets me free from the routine; it sets me free from the biases and helps me see the world with new perspectives. The constant movements through different cultures and landscapes create a calm lake of thoughts inside me and the only way to clear the water of thoughts is more traveling.
